Antarctique '09 - Antarctica '09
L'aventure a débuté samedi le 24 janvier. De Toronto nous avons
fait escale à Santiago au Chili où j'ai eu la chance de visiter
Santiago et quelques vignobles établis dans la région. Pour moi
c'était mon premier pied à terre en Amérique du Sud. De là nous avons
rejoint l'expédition de National Geograhic et nous nous sommes envolés
vers Ushuaia où nous avons embarqué sur le National Geographic
Endeavour en direction de l'Antarctique...Dix jours de croisière à
admirer la beauté de cette région majestueuse...quel spectacle! De
retour à Ushuaia nous avons laissé l'expédition pour nous envoler vers
Buenos Aires en Argentine. De là nous nous sommes dirigé vers Iguazú
où nous avons visité les chutes avant de revenir vers Buenos Aires. Je
suis vraiment choyé, car j'ai eu l'occasion de mettre les pieds en
Antarctique. J'ai maintenant débarqué sur tous les continents de notre
merveilleuse planète. Je vous invite donc à partager cette belle
aventure avec moi.
Antarctique '09
The
adventure started Saturday January 24th. From Toronto we stopped in
Santiago, Chile where I had opportunity to visit the city and a few
wineries established in the area. For me it was my first time in South
America. From there we joined the National Geogrpahic expedition and
flew to Ushuaia where we embarked on the National Geographic Endeavor
towards Antarctica...Ten days of cruising to admire the beauty of this
majestic region...what a treat! Back in Ushuaia we parted with the
expedition to fly to Buenos Aires in Argentina. From there, we flew to
Iguazú to visit the falls. I feel really fortunate, because when I
stepoed on the Antarctica continent at Brown Bluff, I had touched every
continent on this beautiful planet. I would like to invite you in
